At the time of this response there are no sources for Prior Authorization (PA) communications in PurpleLab CLEAR closed claims data sources. Paid and denied claims for healthcare and pharmacy services that required PA may contain a PA type code, and as such, an algorithmic approach to estimating PA time may be feasible.
